Hi!
I am Tamás Márton.
Lifelong learner and data engineer.
Who am I?
My work and interests revolve around the intersection of using data to derive business values and deploying & maintaining data pipelines and everything around them: CI/CD, governance, data quality; you name it. With 4+ years of experience in various data related roles (engineer, analyst and scientist), I have a well-rounded understanding of the data landscape and of the needs of different teams. Currently, I work with tools such as Airflow, dbt, Snowflake & Databricks. If I caught your attention, take a look at my portfolio.
I love to get in the zone and start geeking stuff out, especially when it comes to anything related to computers and data engineering. I consider myself a lifelong learner as I take every opportunity to better myself in my areas of interest. Moreover, I am a hobby long-distance biker. I have an old Soviet Sputnik bicycle which I restored a couple of years ago and ever since it is one of my most prized possessions. I also love playing history video games, anything produced by Paradox Interactive really.
